CSIR NET examination 2013 will be held on 22nd December, 2013. Under University Grand Commission on various University and Colleges lecturer required on science department. For junior research fellowship eligibility test, ‘NET’ will organised by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research and UGC. This is an National leavel examination. The NET examination will held on 22nd December, 2013. On West Bengal, the only examination center is Kolkata. The question paper for CSIR NET exam will set on the basic of this following subjects, Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Science, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Sciences.

Education Qualification :

For Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth Sciences candidates must passed the Master Degree course and B.S (4 years) and B.E, B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.B.B.S, Integrated B.S.M.S or equivalent examination passed with 55% marks. For SC/ST, PwD candidates required marks on one of the following Degree course is 50%. If any candidate complete B.Sc (Honours) or equivalent degree course or Integrated M.S Phd with the required percentage marks can apply for CSIR NET 2013 examination. The bachelor degree course students, who successfully passed the CSIR NET exam, they have must join for P.hd Degree course within 2 years for getting the fellowship. Candidates who already completed their P.hd Degree course and passed Under Graduate Degree course with 50% marks not or before 19th September, 1991 can directly appointed for lectaturship. Master Degree final year candidates can apply for CSIR NET 2013 examination under some conditions.

Age Limit :

For Junior Research Fellowship programme candidate’s age must be between 28th years on the basis of 1st July, 2013. 5 years age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and Women candidates. There is no maximum age limit for lectureship.
One candidate can apply for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS). Engineering Sciences students can only apply for JRF examination.

Exam Pattern :

Examination will held on 22nd December, 2013. Morning season exam will start from 09:00 a.m. and still continue to 12:00 p.m. Afternoon season will start from 02:00 p.m. And still continue to 05:00 p.m. Full marks of this examination is 200. Exam will held on 3 part for every subject. On the 1st Part question paper will set on General Aptitude subject. Important topics on this part are, Logical Reigning, Graphical Analysis, Analytical & Numerical ability, Quantitive Comparison, Series Formation, Puzzles etc. For Engineering Science, 1st part will set on Mathematics and engineering Aptitude. 2nd Part Question Papers will set on the subjective types questions. 3rd Part Question Papers will set with the essay types questions. All the questions of every part and every subjects are MCQ type. For that this exam called ‘Single MCQ Examination‘. For wrong answer negative marking option is available. Candidates can download CSIR NET 2013 examination syllabus from this following website, www.csirhrdg.res.in.

Application Process :

Application for CSIR NET 2013 must be done through online. Candidates can apply for this exam on the following website, www.csirhrdg.res.in. For apply online candidates must have a valid e-mail id. Application process through online start from 30th July and still continue to 22nd August, 2013 Application fees must be paid through Bank Challan. Before apply online for CSIR NET examination, candidates must deposit Rs. 400/- (For SC/ST and PwD candidates Rs. 100/- and for OBC candidates Rs. 200/-) as application fees on any branch of Indian Bank. Last date to deposit the Application Fees on Indian Bank is 21st August, 2013. Candidates can download the Challan from the website.

After submit the online application form successfully, candidates must take print out the system generated application form. It must be send through speed post.
Attach the following documents with the Application :
1. Paste one copy black and white passport size photo on the mention space.

2. Original copy of Bank Challan.

3. Photocopy of all the education qualification certificates.

4. Cast Certificate (if applicable).

5. PwD certificate (if applicable).

Must write the Subject Code, Center Code, Medium Code & Application Number on the front of envelop. Send it on the following address; Sr. Controller of Examination Unit, Human Resource Development Group, CSIR Complex, Opposit IHM, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi- 110012.
