Eligibility Criteria for NEST 2018
The NISER and UM-DAE CEBS published some eligibility guidelines for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2018 exam. If any candidates want to seat for NEST 2018 exam, then he/she have to must fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria.
■ Students who passed 12th standard Board Examination with at least three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in the year of 2016 or 2017, can apply for NEST 2018 Examination.
■ Students who are appearing 12th standard Board Exam in the year of 2018, can also eligible for NEST 2018 Exam.
■ Candidates must have to pass their Higher Secondary (12th standard) Exam with at least 60% marks. For SC/ST/PWD students the minimum required percentage is 55%.
■ For apply NEST 2018 exam candidates have to follow the age limit. Candidates who born on or after 1st August 1998 and follow the above criteria, can apply for this Entrance Exam.

NEST 2018 Exam Online Application Process
The application process for NEST 2018 Exam is Online. Candidates have to apply from the Online Application Portal of National Entrance Screening Test. The Portal is, https://www.nestexam.in for NEST 2018 Application. Candidates have to enter their working mobile number and email id on the online application form. Fill the complete application form carefully with all the details information. Upload scanned photograph and signature at the time of online application. Application Fees for NEST 2018
The Online Application fees for General and OBC Male candidates is ₹1000/- and for all Female, SC/ST/PwD candidates the application fees is ₹500/-. Application fees can be paid by Debit Card, Credit Card and Internet Banking. After paying the fees, take print out the payment receipt. The application fees for NEST 2018 Exam is non-refundable.

NEST 2018 Examination will be held all over India at multiple centres in all the major cities and towns. The reporting time at the exam centre for the candidates is 09:00 am.
Question Pattern of NEST 2018 Exam
There are total 5 sections on the NEST 2018 Question paper. Section-1 is General Science, this is compulsory and Section-2 to Section-5 contains Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics subjectwise questions. Candidates have to select three Sections (Subjects) from these.

■ Candidates can attempt all the four Sections (subjectwise), however, best three Sections along with the Section-1, the total marks will calculate. Total marks for NEST 2018 Exam is 180 (30+50×3=180).
■ There is no negative marking for Section 1: GENERAL. For remaining four Sections there is negative marking for Category-1 questions. For every wrong attempt, 1 mark will be deducted from the total marks. No negative marking for Category-2 questions.
Admit Card for NEST 2018 Exam
National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2018 Exam Admit Card will be available from 25th April 2018. Candidates can download their NEST 2018 Admit card by login into the NEST 2018 Online Portal, www.nestexam.in till the date of examination.
NEST 2018 Admit card will contain Name of the Examination Center, Exam schedule, Roll Number, Password and other important instructions. Keep safely the admit card, because it will require at the time of admission.
Cut off Marks for NEST 2018 Exam
NEST 2018 cut off Marks is the minimum marks needed by the candidates for admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai. The NEST 2018 cut off marks depends upon various factors like question difficulty level, number of applicants etc. And it varies every year. The last year cut off marks was 107 out of 180 for General Category Students.
