The government of West Bengal has started Employment Bank, the job search portal for unemployed job seekers. Unemployed candidates can register on this website with their details information and may receive jobs, on the basis of their qualifications. Employment Bank is an online version of Employment Exchange.
The government announced to provide ‘Unemployed Assistance / Stipend’ to the registered candidates and named this scheme, Yuvasree Prakalpa. Under this Yuvasree scheme, unemployed candidates will get an assistance of Rs. 1500 per month from WB Government.

Registration Process on Employment Bank
Employment Bank is an Online Job search portal for unemployed candidates. Anyone can register on this website. Follow the Online Registration process on Employment Bank.
Step-1: At first visit the official website of Employment Bank, https://employmentbankwb.gov.in to register as a job seeker.
Step-2: Then click on the ‘New Enrolment Job Seeker’ button on this website. After clicking on this link, a page with complete ‘Trams and Conditions’ will be shown. Read carefully all the conditions and then click on, ‘Accept & Continue’ bottom.
Step-3: Now you will get a ‘New Enrollment’ form for job seekers. Fill it carefully with all the details information like – Personal Information, Contact Information, Educational Qualifications, Language you Know, Physical Measurements, Upload your Scanned Photo and CV, Experience Details and some Additional Details (Aadhar Number, Proof of Resident etc).
Step-4: After filling all the information, click on the SUBMIT button for save all the data.
Step-5: When you Submit all your data, you will receive your Registration number with some other details. Now you have to visit your nearest Employment Exchange with all your documents and the Employment Bank Registration Number to activate the Job seekers profile.
Step-6: After verifying all the documents they will activate your Employment Bank – Job Seeker profile. Now you can receive all new job updates and can apply for Yuvasree Scheme.
Yuvasree Scheme Eligibility Criteria
To receive stipend/assistance from Government, candidates have to apply for Yuvasree Scheme. The complete eligibility requirements for Yuvasree Scheme are given below,
■ Candidate must be an Unemployed and permanent resident of West Bengal.
■ Candidates, who are registered on Employment Bank, can apply for Yuvasree Prakalpa.
■ The minimum educational qualification required to apply Yuvasree Prakalpa is VIII (Eight Class) pass or above.
■ Candidates who are enjoying any type of financial assistance or loan from State or Central Government for Self – Employment, are not eligible for this Scheme.
■ The age limit of the applicant must be in between 18 to 45 years with respect to the 1st April of the Registration year.
■ Only one member of a family can get this Yuvasree financial assistance from WB Government.
Yuvasree Scheme Application Process
To apply Yuvasree Prakalpa, applicants have to follow the following steps and submit their application forms.
■ Now the Government will prepare a list of first one lakh candidates who will register on Employment Bank website, on the basis of their qualifications for Yuvasree Scheme. The list of selected candidates will publish on the website.
■ Selected candidates have to submit the Annexure – I and Annexure – II with all the required documents and Bank Account details to the Sub-Divisional Office on or before the last date.

Yuvasree Scheme Selection Process
The government of West Bengal provides Yuvasree stipend nearly one lakh candidates on the basis of their educational qualifications, financial conditions and first come first basis. It means if you registered earlier on Employment Bank, then you have a greater chance to get Yuvasree financial assistance. Monthly Rs. 1500 amount will transfer to the Yuvasree holder bank account.
If any unemployed Yuvasree holder, get any job and employed, then he/she have to cancel his/her name from the Yuvasree list. Otherwise, he/she will face problems in future. A State level monitoring committee will review all the complete processes.
Yuvasree Payment Receive Process
Fund of Rs. 1500 will be transferred to the selected candidates’ bank account through EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) method per month. Candidates have to submit their bank account details along with Annexure-I and Annexure-II at the SDO office.
