National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2018 Online Application will be started from 8th February 2018. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will publish the official notification of NEET 2018 Exam for admission on MBBS and BDS course under all Government and Private Medical colleges all over India. There is no state level Medical entrance exam will be held for Medical admission on MBBS or BDS course. Candidates have to seat for CBSE NEET 2018 Examination.
NEET 2018 Examination will be held on 6th May 2018 across all over India. The Online application will be started from the 8th February to 9th March 2018 on cbseneet.nic.in website. NEET 2018 Score and Rank card will be required for admission on MBBS or BDS course at state medical colleges and central medical colleges. 85% medical seats will be reserved for State quota and 15% seats for all India quota.
Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2018
The CBSE made some small changes on the eligibility criteria for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018. All the details are given below.
■ Students who passed their 12th Class Board Exam or any equivalent exam in the year 2016 or 2017 are eligible for CBSE NEET 2018 Exam.
■ Those students, who will appear their 12th class Board exam in 2018, are also eligible for this entrance exam.
■ Candidates have to pass their 12th Exam with at least Five subjects, otherwise, they are not eligible. One candidate can seat for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam 3 times only.
■ The date of birth of the applicant must be fall on or after 1st May 1992. For SC, ST and PWD students 5 years age relaxation available.
■ For all Indian candidates, Aadhaar number is mandatory at the time of Online Application. Candidates have to fill the application form of their Aadhaar Number, Date of Birth and Gender as per UIDAIs’ data. For J&K, Assam and Meghalaya candidates, they require entering their Ration Card/ Passport / Bank Account Number / Government ID card number.
Important Dates for NEET 2018 Exam
On the official notification of CBSE NEET 2018 Exam, CBSE has mentioned all the important dates. The important dates for NEET 2018 Exam are,
• Online Application Start – 8th February 2018.
• Last Date of Online Application – 9th March 2018.
• Last Date of Online/Offline Payment – 10th March 2018.
• Online Application Correction avaiable from – 12th March to 16th March 2018
• Download Online Admit Card for NEET – 2nd Week of April 2018 onwards.
• Date of Pen & Paper Based Exam – 6th May 2018.

NEET 2018 Exam Online Application Process
The CBSE National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2018 Online Application will be started from 8th February 2018. The online mode of application is Online through CBSE NEET application Portal. Step by step application process described below.
■ For applying NEET (UG) 2018 Exam Online, visit the Application portal, http://cbseneet.nic.in and then Click on the “PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE NEET(UG), 2018”.
■ Before Online Application scanned the Candidate’s photograph, Signature and Guardian Signature for upload at the time of Online Application.
■ Now fill the Online Application Form correctly with all your details information and then upload the scanned photograph and signatures. Create your Password and enter a Security Question and it answers. After that enter the OTP, which will send to your mobile number.And then Click on the Submit option for registration. Note down the Provisional Registration Number for further log into this portal.
■ After completing the Registration step, candidates have to fill some Personal Information. Candidates have to the Medium of the Question Paper and the choices of Exam Centers. After completing few more simple steps, re-check your application and click on the Final Submit button to complete the registration.
■ Now upload your scanned Photograph and Signature to the application portal and click on the ‘Nest’ option.
■ Now you have to pay the NEET (UG) 2018 Exam Application Fee of Rs. 1400/- through Online (Credit Card / Debit Card / Paytm / Internet Banking) or through any bank UPI app like BHIM, Phone Pe etc.
■ After Successful payment, download the Confirmation Page. No need to send it to anywhere by post. Keep it for future reference.
Application Fees for NEET 2018
The application fees for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG is Rs.1400/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST/PH candidates. Students who want apply for medical entrance exam NEET 2018 can pay their Application fees through Internet Banking, Credit/Debit Card, various e-wallet and through UPI app. This application fees for NEET 2018 is totally non-refundable.
NEET 2018 Exam Date/Schedule
National Entrance Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 Exam will be held on the 6th May 2018 all over India. NEET-UG 2018 will be a pen-paper based offline exam. The examination will start from 10:00 a.m. and will continue to 01:00 p.m. The duration of the test will be 3 hours.
Question Pattern of NEET 2018 Exam
■ On NEET UG 2018 Exam there will be only one paper. This paper will contain 180 objective MCQ type questions with four alternative answers with a single correct answer.
■ Questions of NEET 2018 exam will come from these following subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
■ Total 180 questions will available on the question paper and each question carries 4 marks. So, total marks are 720. For each correct answer students will get 4 marks and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will deduct from the total score.
■ Total 45 questions from Physics and 45 questions for Chemistry. Remaining 90 questions comes from Biology subject.
■ Question paper of NEET 2018 Exam will be in 10 regional languages, which are – English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
Admit Card for NEET-UG 2018 Exam
National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) 2018 Admit Card will available form the 2nd week of April 2018. Candidates have to download their Admit Card from http://cbseneet.nic.inwebsite. Just log in to this website with the ‘Registration Number’ and Password then download your admit card.
NEET 2018 Admit Card will contain the Name of the Examination Center, Exam Date and Time and other important information. Candidates have to carry one photo ID card along with the NEET 2018 Admit Card at the exam hall.
Result & Rank Card of NEET 2018 Exam
The result of NEET UG 2018 Examination will be available from 5th June 2018 on the CBSE NEET website. Candidates can check their State Rank, All India Rank (AIR) and Quota Rank after login with the Registration Number and Password. Candidates can also download the NEET 2018 Rank card. According to the notification, 85% seats are reserved state quota and remaining 15% of all India quota.
Cut off Marks for NEET 2018 Exam
The cut-off or qualifying marks is the minimum marks required to qualify the NEET entrance examination. The NEET Cut-off marks depend upon various factors like- questions standard, the number of students appeared the examination, the number of percentiles etc. CBSE published the NEET 2017 cut off marks/qualifying marks out of 720.
• General Category Students – 360 (50%)
• SC/ST/OBC Students – 288 (40%)
• General – PH Candidates – 324 (43.2%)
• SC/ST/OBC-PH Candidates – 288 (40%)
Students who will get the minimum cut-off marks/qualifying marks will get position on the merit list.
