West Bengal ESI Hospital GNM Nursing Training School will publish the list of provisionally selected candidates on the 3rd week of October 2021 on their official website, esiwb.gov.in. Candidates can also download the merit list from our website also.
The merit list will be categorised into two parts –
- Provisionally Selected Candidates for ESI Hospital Manicktala
- Provisionally Selected Candidates for ESI Hospital Sealdah
The authority will publish the merit list category-wise (Unreserved, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, Dependent Daughter and Civil Defence). Selected Candidates’ Name, their Guardian’s Name, Merit Marks, Date of Birth will mention on the merit list.

Medical Examination for the Selected Candidate
The candidates, who are selected for the GNM Training Course Admission, should appear at the Medical Examination with the following documents (original) and medical reports.
- Chest X-ray (P.A View) with report.
- Urine for RE/ME (Sugar and Albumin).
- Blood for Hb%, TC, DC & ESR and Blood Group.
- Eye testing for refrctive error (with power) & colour vision – certificate from Ophthalmologist.
- Certificate for vaccination against Hepatitis-B (if taken).
Date of Medical Examination
The medical examination will organise within one week after publishing the WB ESI GNM Merit List 2021. The medical exam will be held in October 2021.
Venue of Medical Examination
The medical examination for GNM Nursing Training Course Admission will organise on the following venues-
- NTC, Manicktala – For selected candidates of Manicktala
- NTS, Sealdah – For selected candidates of Sealdah

Documents Verification
At the time of Medical Examination for the selected students, original documents verification also be done. So candidates must have to bring the following documents (original) with them.
- Higher Secondary Marksheet.
- Age Proof Certificate (Madhyamik Admit or Certificate / Birth Certificate equivalent)
- Caste Certificate (for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B)
- Residential Certificate (original)
- Valid IP Card (for the dependent daughter of IPs)
- Certificate of PWD
- Eight copies of colour passport size photos
- EWS Certificate (if any)
If any candidate does not visit for medical examination at their respective Training Institution, her candidature will be cancelled.
Admission for Waiting List Candidates
There will be two lists of Waiting List candidates also. If there will any vacant seats after 1st counselling, then admission will be done from waiting list candidates.

Hello Bristi, you can use any one of these. Both Income certificate issued by Municipality Chairman and MLA is valid for WB ESI GNM Nursing course.
