State Level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Question Pattern
West Bengal School Education Department (WBSED) will organise the complete exam process for NTSE Scholarship Exam 2021 for class 8 school students. The Question Pattern for this scholarship is given below.
All the questions will be MCQ type and there is no Negative Marking for the wrong answer.
The question paper of NTSE Scholarship Exam will contain two parts.
- Mental Ability Test.
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Political Science & Economics).

Mental Ability Test (Part-I)
Here are some important information about the Mental Ability Test section on NTSE Scholarship Exam.
- This Part-I will contain 100 questions.
- All the questions will be MCQ type.
- Each question will carry 1 mark only.
- Total marks on this section/part is 100.
- Maximum time allowed to answer this section is 120 minutes.
Scholastic Aptitude Test
Important information about the Scholastic Aptitude Test for State Level National Talent Search Examination.
- This section will contain 20 questions from Mathematics.
- 13 questions from Physics.
- 13 questions from Chemistry.
- 13 questions from Biology
- 12 questions from History.
- 12 questions from Geography.
- 8 questions from Political Science.
- 8 questions from Economics
- Total marks on this paper is 100 and the maximum time allowed 120 minutes.
