Eligibility Criteria for WBJEEB JELET Exam

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) mention all the required eligibility criteria for JELET 2020 Examination. Specific eli2gibility criteria for Diploma Holder, B.Sc Holder and D.Pharm students.

  1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  2. There is no upper age limit for Diploma Holders in Engineering, Technology or Pharmacy.
  3. The maximum upper age limit for B.Sc candidates is 27th years and Diploma holders in Marine Engineering is 25 years as on 31st December 2020.

Admission Eligibility for Diploma holders seeking admission in B.E or B.Tech course

  1. The candidate must pass the Diploma course in Engineering in the relevant branch.
  2. The candidate must secure at least 45% (40% for SC, ST, OBC, PwD) marks or equivalent CGPA in Diploma exam.
  3. for admission in Jadavpur University candidate must secure at least 60% (45% for SC, ST, OBC, PwD) marks or equivalent CGPA in Diploma exam.

Admission Eligibility for B.Sc holders seeking admission in B.E or B.Tech course

  1. The candidate must pass B.Sc Degree from any recognised University with at least 45% (40% for SC, ST, OBC, PwD) marks.
  2. The candidate must have passed 12th Examination with Mathematics as a subject.
  3. B.Sc candidates will be considered for admission only if vacancies remain even after filling the seats with available diploma holders candidates.
  4. B.Sc candidates are not eligible for admission in Jadavpur University through lateral entry 

Admission Eligibility for Diploma holders in Pharmacy seeking admission in B.Pharm

  1. The candidate must pass the Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognised institution.
  2. The candidate must secure at least 45% (40% for SC, ST, OBC, PwD) marks or equivalent CGPA.

WBJEE JELET Question Pattern & Marks Distribution

  • The question paper will contain 100 MCQ type questions.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Full marks of the question paper is 100.
  • Duration of the test is 2 hours.
  • The Question Paper will be in English language only.

WBJEE JELET 2020 Application Process

Eligible candidates can apply for JELET 2020 for Undergraduate Courses online through WBJEE Application Portal.

Before starting the registration process, you must be careful to enter the information on the online application form. Once you submit the Online Application Form, you cannot edit/modify the application form anymore.

Follow the steps to apply online for JELET 2020 Exam correctly.

  1. Candidates have to enter their contact details such as a complete address, phone number, email etc.
  2. Then the candidate has to Password and security question and answer.
  3. Review your complete registration details and SUBMIT it. You will get unique APPLICATION NUMBER through SMS/email. Note down the application number.
  4. Now login with the Application Number & Password. Fill the remaining Application Form.
  5. Thereafter the candidate needs to choose any two zones of examination.
  6. Now upload the scanned copies of candidate’s photograph and signature.
  7. Pay the WBJEEB JELET 2020 Examination Fees online and download the Confirmation page.

Application Fees for JELET Exam

After completing the Online Application Process for JELET 2020 Exam, you have to pay the Examination fees of ₹500 plus the Bank’s service charge.

The Examination Fees can be paid by Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card only. The fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.

Yes, students under EWS Category will get 10% seats reservation for admission through WBJEE JELET Examination. Students have to upload their scanned copy of EWS Certificate at the time of Online Application.

Can I change my JELET Admit Card Information?

You cannot change/modify any of your information, after the publication of WBJEE JELET 2020 Admit Card. In fact WBJEE Board will not help you regarding this issue.
