West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WEBSCTE) will organize JEXPO entrance exam for admission to Diploma Courses in Engineering, Technology and Architecture in Polytechnics of West Bengal. This year JEXPO 2018 Examination will be held on 20th May 2018.

JEXPO Exam Question Pattern

West Bengal Polytechnic Exam JEXPO is a pen-paper based examination on the OMR sheet. The question paper will contain two papers, Paper – 1 (Mathematics) and Paper-2 (Physics and Chemistry).

On the Paper-1 there will be 100 MCQ questions from Mathematics subjects and on the Paper-2 there also will be 100 questions (50 from Physics & 50 from Chemistry). The total number of questions is 200 and each question carries 1 mark.


There will be no any Negative Marking for wrong attempts. The questions of Polytechnic Exam will be set from the West Bengal 10th standard Board’s syllabus.

The syllabus of West Bengal Polytechnic Entrance Exam JEXPO is the complete Mathematics and Physical Science syllabus of 10th standard WBBSE Board’s syllabus. Subject wise the syllabus given below,

Mathematics

Real Numbers, Laws of Indices, Graph, Co-ordinate Geometry – Distance Formula, Linear Simultaneous Equations, Properties of Parallelogram, Polynomial, Factorisation, Transversal & Mid-Point Theorem, Profit & Loss, Statistics, Theorems on Area, Construction of a Parallelogram whose measurement of one angle is given and equal in area of a Triangle, Construction of a Triangle equal in area of a quadrilateral.
