NHFDC Scholarship Scheme 2018 for Higher Education Handicapped Students

National Handicapped Finance and Development (NHFDC) department announced 2000 scholarships for Physically Handicapped students in India. This is a National Scholarship. Scholarships provide PH students for Educational and Technical (Academic, Professional Technical) study.

The application process for NHFDC Scholarship 2018 has been started already. There are two scholarships scheme are available, which are Scholarship Scheme (Trust Fund) and Scholarship Scheme (National Fund).

Scholarship Scheme (Trust Fund)

This scholarship will provide for study in Professional and Technical Graduate or Under-Graduate course. Total numbers of scholarships are 1,500. Students, whose annual family income not over than 25,000/- can apply for this scholarship scheme. For Professional Graduate course monthly 2500/- and for Professional Under-Graduate course monthly 3,000/- is mention allowance.

This scholarship will be given for 10 months. For buy books and other stationery products, this scholarship will provide 6,000/- per annual. Sometimes, candidates can get an amount for buying handicapped help product. 30% scholarships is reserved for girls students. This scholarship will provide 4 times in a year. So apply early.

Scholarship Scheme (National Fund)

For the study on the professional or technical Degree course or Professional Diploma/ Certificate course from any recognized Academy, this scholarship will provide. The total number of scholarship is 500. Amount of this scholarship;

Diploma / Certificate Course Hosteler – 700/- per month.
Diploma / Certificate Course Day- scholar – 400/- per month.
Degree Course Hosteler – 1000/- per month.
Degree Course Day-scholar – 700/- per month.

Admission fees on any Institution also provide on this scholarship scheme. The maximum amount of Admission fees is 10,000/- per annual. Maximum annual family income not over than 15,000/- to get this scholarship.

If any Physical Handicapped students get the scholarship from this Fund, then he/she will not apply for any other scholarships provided by other Foundation or Government.

Online Scholarship Application Process

Application for NHFDC Scholarship 2018 must be done through online. The online application process started already. Students can apply for this scholarship by visiting www.nhfdc.nic.in, this website. After applying online, take print out of filled application form generated by computer and send it to the following address attached to mention documents.
