What is the time period to apply for Birth Certificate?

Government of India started Online web portal for its citizen to Apply Birth Certificate Online and easily download it. Then step by step online application process is described here.

Step 1: At first visit the official website of Birth & Death Registration by Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India. The Civil Registration System in India is, and then click on the General Public Signup option.
